The National Forum on Quality Improvement in Health Care is the premier "meeting place" for people committed to the mission of improving health care. This annual event draws approximately 4,000 health care leaders from around the world in person and an additional 6,000 via satellite.

 2nd Annual Cardiology Summit
 Eleventh Annual Scientific Symposium

In conjunction with the American College of Cardiology, the 2nd Annual Cardiology Summit will be held on December 11, 2005 from 1:00-4:30 PM.

 

"Building Bridges across the Continuum: Improving AMI Care" will highlight success stories in improving adherence to clinical guidelines, using proven tools, and connecting critical links across the care continuum.

In conjunction with IHI's National Forum, the Eleventh Annual Scientific Symposium on Improving the Quality and Value of Health Care will be held on December 12, 2005.

 

The goal of the Symposium is to provide a forum in which investigators from around the world can introduce new work for peer review and discussion on the science of improving health care and health professions education.

 

 Satellite Broadcast

IHI will be broadcasting the plenary and miniplenary sessions from the December 13-14 General Conference for this year’s National Forum. Last year’s broadcast reached approximately 6,000 people.
