The MITSS Story DVD, produced by the Medically Induced Trauma Support Services, tells the story of a physician and a patient who share an adverse event and presents their journey toward healing. The 16-minute DVD is intended to stimulate discussion in any health care organization about the cultural and institutional barriers that exist following adverse medical events around disclosure, apology, and support.
