From the literature we know the physician-nurse partnership improves multiple factors in care and outcomes. We detected problems with this partnership at our hospital. This literature search was done to find studies that demonstrate how interventions that cultivate physician-nurse relationships effect communication, collaboration and critical thinking between physician s and nurses and improve patient and overall outcomes.
